Some peripherals had such unreliable HAL libraries they were totally rewritten towards the end of the project. Having each other to discuss these issues, among other general questions regarding development proved to help significantly.
     This, combined with regular meetings each week allowed us to integrate our work more smoothly, as we were all present anyway.
